DATA SOURCES

Romanian Seismic Network of INFP

Location information partially available on the EPOS ICS Platform, as Seismic metadata distributed by NIEP

This network comprises of more than 160 real time seismic stations (most with co-located seismometers and accelerometers installed in free field conditions), in Romania.

  1. BURAR (in northern Romania) with 12 elements
  2. PLOR (Plostina, in the Vrancea region) with 7 elements

DATA PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

EIDA Node

Available on the EPOS ICS Platform, as Seismic waveforms distributed by NIEP

This node is administered by INFP. It gathers and distributes data from seismic stations in Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine.

Earthquake catalogues

The ROMPLUS earthquake catalogue of INFP provides information regarding all known earthquakes on Romanian territory. For focal mechanism parameters, the REFMC Catalogue, as well as the FMNEAR, ISOLA and other products of INFP can be used.

Hazard maps

These are elaborated by INFP, URBAN-INCERC and UTCB, in the framework of research projects such as BIGSEES and RO-RISK.

Risk maps

These are elaborated by INFP, URBAN-INCERC and UTCB, in the framework of research projects such as BIGSEES and RO-RISK.
